Introduction to the Internal Family Systems Model

Speaker: Molly LaCroix, LMFT

Membership Drive Bring a Friend

Pre-registration is required.

The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) is an evidence-based approach for working with a variety of presenting issues.  It is an exceptionally gentle and respectful modality for working with trauma and attachment-related challenges.  The IFS model is empowering and collaborative, and is grounded in many of the core systemic and therapeutic modalities of the MFT profession.

Molly LaCroix, LMFT is in private practice, specializing in anxiety, trauma, and grief/loss.  She is certified in IFS, certified in EMDR, and is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.  Molly was an adjunct professor in the MAMFT program at Bethel Seminary San Diego, and teaches and consults about using the IFS model.  Molly presented at last year’s international IFS conference.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants understand how the model is applied with clients
