Long Practice Description
Jaclyn works with individuals and adolescents through issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, issues of self-worth, grief, loss, and self-harm. She also works with couples and families facing communication problems, infidelity wounds, and parenting struggles. She is passionate about joining with her clients to uncover their beliefs about themselves, others, and the world, to offer compassion to themselves, and to find healthy coping strategies. She fosters an environment of safety, acceptance and curiosity.
Jaclyn draws from humanistic approaches specifically Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and includes mindfulness and compassion-based awareness. She also utilizes a trauma-informed modality called Organic Intelligence, a theory and clinical practice of human empowerment, resiliency, and compassion. Jaclyn is trained in basic EMDR training Level I and Level II and works with first responders and their families at Coherence. She also is trained in HeartMath.
Jaclyn is also a wife and a dog mom. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, yoga, writing, skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends.
