This past year has been stressful for us therapists and has forced many of us to sit facing screens for long hours.
Wouldn’t you like a day in the healing gardens; to breathe in fresh air, create mandalas, walk the labyrinth and listen to the birds? Please join us as we release the stress of the past year and refill our reservoir of well being.
No art experience is needed.
All supplies are provided.

About our presenter
Ellen Speert, ATR-BC, REAT is director of the California Center for Creative Renewal, a therapeutic retreat center specializing in creativity, women’s issues, loss and spirituality since 1981. She is past president of the San Diego Art Therapy Association and active with the American Art Therapy Association, CAMFT, as well as the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association.
For over 40 years, Ms Speert has been involved in the field of Art Therapy, conducting workshops nationally and internationally and publishing professional journal articles. She has designed and directed postgraduate art therapy programs at UCSD and National University, and provides training and supervision to therapists throughout the US and in Europe, Asia and South America.
Her work has appeared in many newspapers, magazines, on radio and TV, and she has won numerous awards as a public speaker. Ms. Speert is an exhibiting artist, art gallery owner and avid gardener.
