SNDC-CAMFT x SD-CAMFT Networking Hike at Peñasquitos Canyon (Sunday, June 14, 2026)

Join us for a group outing and a great way to start your morning! Enjoy beautiful views and a chance to connect with your peers. Because this is a longer hike we recommend you bring water and trail snacks.

We're excited to be collaborating with the SD-CAMFT chapter for our hike this month at Peñasquitos Canyon Trail! We'll be hiking to the waterfall, which is approximately 3 miles on mostly flat terrain along a straight out-and-back trail. Participants are welcome to turn around at any point if they are unable to complete the full hike. We encourage everyone to move at their own pace and enjoy the experience in whatever way feels best for them. After the hike, we'll be having an optional lunch at Mike's Red Tacos located approximately eight miles from the trail. (Please note: that lunch will be self-pay for all attendees.) We look forward to connecting, hiking, and spending time together in nature.

Event Details

When: Sunday, June 14, 2026 (registration closes morning of event)

Time: 9am-12pm (we will wait 15 minutes for any late arrivals)*

Location: Penasquitos Canyon Trail (We will be meeting at the Ranch House at the end of the parking lot.)

Look for Tara from North County and Tamalina with her black service animal, Amaya from SD-CAMFT

Cost: FREE (self-pay for lunch)

For: Members and Non-Members (family and friends are welcome to join)

We may take pictures during hike, but you do not have to be photographed.
